50th Reunion - Fri Eve

On Friday evening of our 50th Reunion we gathered at Cedarhurst from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. CDT for heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and  just to get reacquainted with each other.  It rained the whole evening, but our classmates didn't seem to mind, as we bumped shoulder to shoulder with each other.  Originally, we thought we might have 80 to 100 for this event, but to our delight, we had almost 180.  We had plenty of food thanks to our local classmates, and the whole evening was delightful.  Sally Carter, the lovely ghost who haunts Cedarhurst did appear and mingled among us for a couple of hours.  She seemed happy to find her beautiful old house filled with people having a great time once again.

Sally Carter was our hostess for the evening.   She is a sweet thing if somewhat frail these days in her fragile state.  I caught her one fine day in Maple Hill and she posed for me.  You'll see a few other pictures of her in this gallery.
