Sept. 7, 1946-Nov. 28, 2014 John Butler Saint of Mobile passed away November 28,2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Verbon Saint. He is survived by his mother, Drama Butler Saint, his wife of 46 years, Frances Jernigan Saint; his children, William Bradley Saint, Karen Saint Sullivan (Sean), and Susan Saint Veasey (Jason); six grandchildren, Jack, Gavin, Anna Frances, Cecilia, Cate, and John B; his brother, Bobby Jo Saint (Cherry), his sister in law Cathy Jernigan Lackey, and niece and nephew Sarah Margaret Saint and Bo Lackey, and numerous family and friends. He was a proud graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama. He was a lieutenant in the Army fighting for his country in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the bronze star and a Purple Heart. He was the CEO and owner of the Mitchell Company. His generosity and good works earned him Mobilian of the Year. He cherished the honor of Knight of St. Gregory that the Catholic Church bestowed upon him. He lived his life always thinking of how he could help others. Whether it was a smile to give, an open door to listen, or a tune to whistle, he made everything better. Making others needs his priority was a daily occurrence and his generosity and dedication to his family, business, and community was felt by so many. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 10 A.M. until the 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send donations to any of the following organizations; St. Mary's Home, Little Sisters of the Poor,
