Roy was my neighbor and close friend in jr and high school days. Both Roy and Russell Blackledge were among my groomsmen in Jan 1969. In attached photo Roy is seen escorting Diane, my bride, from the car to the church steps ahead of the father of the bride. Later that year Roy and his bride Jenny visited Diane and I at our log cabin in Tuscaloosa one weekend. Regrettably, that fun weekend was the last time I was to see Roy, as we were never able to cross paths again.
How poignant that the paths of people with whom we are so close, diverge. There is much loss in our short lives. Terrell, your memory is very touching. Glad it is a joyful memory.
